Since I have an appointment in the homestead 1 area, tomorrow I am going to go back for a few weeks. I cannot wait until I can stop going to the freakin' Dr. all the time. Damn dentist chairs and their evil wounds!
Its going to be weird to not be around him for a few weeks. And then sleeping alone.

I need to pick the brain of someone who knows a lot about laptops. There is something I want to try, and I am not sure how to go about it.
My Jew is pretty tech savvy, but this is a little out of his scope. He uses a desktop, so my laptop questions are a head scratcher.

There are a lot of things I enjoy about being a Regent. I'd have to say one of my top favorites is having the ability to poke my head into different societies- and I do.
It can be fun to see how different people interact. Whether it be good, bad or just a place to let go. You can tell a bit about a person on how they interact with others on a smaller scale.
Its nice to just be that voyeur. It also helps get to know people on a different level and show me which people are okay to chat with and which ones I want to stay the hell away from.
Some of the things said can bring me a giggle. Especially when its something that someone won't say in a more 'public setting'.
All in all.. its a total win for me with good times and interesting things to see.

Anyways... I just skyped with mah Ducky! I've missed her since she's been away. I missed her bad. :( Its cute when my wife hits on my boyfriend and then his face gets all pink. hahaha I love it. It was so nice to see and hear her and Em. I've not been in a funky mood, but seeing them two just made my heart swell with love.

I wrote this in Madadh because I debated on writing it here, but then I was like screw it.
You better be damn sure of who you are friends with if you are going to 'sacrifice' your reputation on here. Especially if you are a long standing member with a good one. Some people are quick to jump to up defend someone because they are blinded by their emotions. They don't see the lies that have been told, and even the lies that we can see behind the scenes.
This happens all the time.. and its sad. Its happened to me a few times, but I've learned.
People on this website have a very long memory. Things just aren't forgotten- especially with me.
It happens constantly around here. Then when someone is warned of someone. especially by someone who can see deeper into the situation, they fly off the handle. Then later on they get burned and wonder why.
I have few friends on this site, I am friendly with quite a few. Friends know what they get with me- the good, the bad, the devious, the crankiness, so on and so forth.. the ones who I am friendly with... don't get to see that deep. So.. what I said above goes for me as well.. you better make sure you know, or are aware, of the things a person can be, will be or may possibly be.

I am so glad that H doesn't find interest in this website. The most he did was make a profile to check it out, then was done with it. A couple times he's made a smart ass comment in my journal or Ducky's, but beyond that he just doesn't care.
Now he just looks over and says it to me, or tells Ducky on the phone. hah.

I am so glad that it is going to end after next season. Sitting here watching season 6 and not really impressed. It hasn't impressed me since I'd say season 3 or 4.
Thank goodness H has HBO go, because I'd be disappointed if I paid for HBO this season for this.

If you see someone who constantly has a different significant other from here, there has to be reasons for that. And they are so freaking obvious that I don't know how its missed.
1. People can't put up with them in real time.
2. They are more than likely insane.
3. They are lying.
4. They are relationship retarded.
I know it DOES happen that people meet from here and are together. But seriously I've seen the same people on here always with someone new and ALWAYS from here. There is never a 'real time' romance.. its always an e-love. Some claim that they can have an offline romance, but do they... no. They always flock back here for some new relationship.
Jeebus.. Seriously.. just.. Gah. I feel sorry for the person who is just naive about the whole thing. Its one thing to get wrapped up in a fantasy every now and again...its a whole nother thing to never be out of that fantasy.

I ordered a real book.. I haven't ordered one in a long time. I got the newest book in the Heartsick series. I'm pretty stoked to read it... blah.. blah.. blah.. blah.. book.. blah blah..
Okay.. now what this journal entry is really about:
After being here for so long, and seeing the same people year after year, you get a 'feeling' as to who is who- even without using the tools. And even when someone uses a proxy to create a profile(and then lies about it), you can still have a good idea of who that person is. With some people it is always the same no matter how many times they leave and come back; the same tone, the same attitude, the same style, the same complaints, the same everything.
There are always some people who think they know everything that goes on behind the scenes here, but they don't- especially if they are a regular member. Just because someone acts like they know, or wants to know, doesn't mean they truly do. Even when I was a Dominar I only knew some of what happened behind the scenes.
People will always complain about administration and staff. Why? Because some have authority issues, some feel they are entitled to things they aren't, some have an issue with rules and some once were but not any longer. Oh and let's not forget the ones who just like something to complain about for attention.
With some of the things people expect staff to take care of, they can take care of themselves. Like with hiding honor comments and blocking, but they don't want to handle it. They'd rather have someone do it for them.
Just like with the current DMCA complaint- Just like any other member, I had to sit down and file a complaint. It took me all of maybe 5 minutes. But instead of people sitting down and doing it, they'd rather complain that 'oh nothings being done'. You're right, its not being done because you aren't doing the proper steps to get it taken care of.
You have to take things with a grain of salt around here. People will lie about the smallest things to get attention, or to 'rally the troops. Or they will dig things from years ago in order to bring up some kind of issue.
Then again, people causing issues for one reason or another is just something that always happens around here with the same people. Such is life.
